Jennifer Clarke

I’m Jennifer Clarke and depending on the mot du jour of the industry, I’m either an eLearning Designer, Learning Experience Designer, Instructional Designer and/or eLearning Developer. My forte is creating elearning experiences that provide value for both learners and leaders.

In a past life, I was a touring Celtic singer and Wild Mountain Thyme was the name of my band. One of the things I loved most about singing traditional songs was the storytelling—people love and relate to good story. That’s why I incorporate it into learning design—information sticks better when you can see yourself in the story.

The primary tools I use for developing great learning experiences are the Articulate 360 suite – Storyline 360 and Rise. Camtasia and Vyond are also in my toolbox for video creating/editing, along with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Character Animator.
